Anne Groza, the 8th president of ARFORA (1979-1981), fell asleep in the Lord on December 24, 2011, at the age of 91.

She was born in Akron, Ohio, and was a lifelong resident of Summit County.  In addition to being an active member of The Presentation of Our Lord Romanian Orthodox Church of Akron/Fairlawn together with her family, where she was particularly involved in the ladies auxiliary and senior members association, she also actively participated in the Summit County Republican Women's Association, Women's Business Association, Board of Elections, Sigma Alpha Chi Sorority, Akron PTA, and the Greater Akron Legal Secretaries Association.

Anne was preceded in death by her beloved husband Theodore David Sr., and is survived by sons Theodore David Jr. (Patricia), Michael Jon (Margaret) and Timothy Mark.  In addition she leaves grandchildren: Scott (Jennifer), Jason (Shayla), Jonathan [past president of AROY], Laura, and Mark; great-grandson Lyndon; nieces, nephews, God-children, family and many friends.

The Funeral Service was celebrated at The Presentation of Our Lord Romanian Orthodox Church on Thursday, December 29, followed by burial at Rose Hill Burial Park in Akron.
